PT Jaklingko Indonesia is collaborating with all modes of transportation in Jakarta targeting the First Phase of payment system integration to be executed starting mid-August 2021.

PT JakLingko Indonesia Corporate Secretary, Ahmad Rizalmi said, apart from ticket and route integration, payment system integration was needed to centralize data and information.
"In the first phase, integrated QR code-based payments will be launched via the JakLingko Smart apps and also JakLingko Smart Card or tickets in the form of a card," he expressed, Friday (5/7).

From these two points, recommendations for available transportation would be provided. After the recommendation on the mode of transportation, there would be a detailed cost and estimated time of arrival and arrival at the destination.
"Through the options presented, users will be able to choose the mode of transportation to be used. After that a QR Code will appear which can be used to pay for all the selected modes of transportation," he explained.
According to him, the implementation of Mobility as a Services would begin in the second phase, namely in the first quarter of 2022 by developing mobility as an integrated service application for public transport operators and external online transportation.
"In the third quarter of 2022, Account Based Ticketing will be implemented, namely, the transformation from a card-centered, to an account-based architecture," he uttered.
He assessed, with the implementation of user account-based tickets, it would be easier to combine all the balances and got a user profile which will later be used as a special rate for several users such as seniors, students, or tourists and so forth.
"One application as a travel planner for the people of Jakarta is a definite step in building sustainable public transportation," he explained.
He added efforts to realize an integrated transportation were currently being carried out, and had even begun to run gradually. It could be seen from the presence of transportation modes such as Transjakarta, KRL Commuter Line, MRT, LRT, and MiniTrans/MikroTrans coupled with the support of PT JakLingko Indonesia as the implementer of the intermodal transportation integration concept in Greater Jakarta.
"As an important component, the role of JakLingko will focus on integrating payments, tariffs, routes and transportation data. Moreover, with the presence of Jaklingko as a company with its main lines, namely in the fields of technology, payment systems and data management starting with Greater Jakarta transportation and will continue to develop for the future," he stated.
